What is Website Maintenance?

We maintain websites to prevent hackers from exploiting your website. Instead of reacting to a hacker attack, we work to prevent the hacker attack in the first place, much the same way that you brush your teeth to prevent cavities, rather than paying more to have the dentist repair them.

Website Maintenance is all about keeping your website up to date from a technical point of view. Browsers change. Web Standards change, Third party scripts change, security changes. As later versions of the technology that powers your website are released Web software is regularly updated to stay one step ahead of hackers. When a security hole is found in software, new software is released to correct the security hole. Hackers become aware of these holes and search the internet for websites running old versions of software to attack.

We manage our software updates in a manner that allows us to quickly roll back to previous versions should the update cause problems to your site.
